What’s your company name, and what does it do?

We are a team of freelance designers who provide graphic and web design services under the label IdeFixx’s web workshop. The name is a combination of a reference to a French comic character and the idea of delivering solid, “fixed” ideas to life.

What is the primary purpose of your website?

Primarily, our goal is to showcase our ability to deliver fast, secure, and accessible websites built with WordPress. Secondly, the site serves as a comprehensive portfolio of nearly all projects we have worked on since 1999.

Challenge

What challenges or pain points were you facing with your website before using SimplyStatic? (e.g., slow load times, security vulnerabilities, high maintenance costs, frequent updates)

Before Simply Static, we were constantly trapped in a loop of slow load times (specifically high TTFB) and increasing maintenance costs required to keep our live WordPress installation running optimally.

How were these issues impacting your business (e.g., customer experience, revenue, security, brand reputation)?

The period before Simply Static was very challenging for us. As IdeFixx focuses on local small and mid-sized businesses, we found ourselves spending an excessive amount of time on technical maintenance instead of focusing on customer experience and growing revenue. This ultimately began to negatively impact our brand reputation.

Solution

Why did you choose Simply Static Studio as your solution?

Simply put, it just works. We had already been using the Simply Static plugin for two years (since 2023) to manage seven client websites. However, two months ago (August 2025), we faced a major challenge: an overloaded database during a standard website export.

We decided to try Simply Static Studio because it offered a much more convenient and reliable solution precisely when we were under tight delivery deadlines.

What measurable improvements have you seen since using Simply Static Studio? (e.g., faster page loads, better security, lower maintenance costs, reduced hosting fees, etc.)

Since we were already using the classic Simply Static Pro plugin, we were familiar with the core measurable benefits of static sites-namely significantly faster page loads and vastly improved security.

The measurable improvement provided by the Studio specifically is the 100% success rate and time savings on the export process itself, which used to fail frequently on our old hosting infrastructure.

Are there any non-measurable benefits you’ve experienced? (e.g., peace of mind, reduced workload, etc.)

Simply Static Studio has given us a massive boost in stability and peace of mind. Now, when we hit the Export button, the process runs smoothly and reliably every time, which has eliminated the need for unexpected late-night shifts trying to troubleshoot failed exports.
